How we started... FULL CIRCLE STORY
In 1993, Dr. Marion Pate's vision for The Helping Hand Clinic, Inc., was realized. Dr. Pate gathered community members around the goal of providing free medical care to Lee County residents without medical insurance or the money to pay for care.
Dr. Pate and other volunteers started The Helping Hand Clinic out of a closet in another medical practice. This Practice was Dr. Cilliberto's office. We honored Dr. Ciliberto with our annual lifetime achievement award in 2024, and where we are currently located at the originally 409 Carthage St location, after 28 years, we have the entire 2800 sq.ft

A sustaining donor is a person who donates a specified amount of their choice monthly. We are currently encouraging and asking everyone to do this in a specified amount.
